Court Cites Official Languages Act On Plea Against Centre's Hindi Reply

Citing the Official Languages Act, the Madras High Cloister has directed the Centre to accord acknowledgment in English if the representation is fabricated in the said language, adage it was the "duty" of the abutment government to do so.

Justices N Kirubakaran and M Duraisamy, responding to a PIL filed by Madurai CPI-M MP Su Venkatesan said that according to the Constitution, every being was advantaged to accord representation in any accent acclimated in the Abutment or the state.
